About

IMG_1025

Mother to two, mother-in-law to two, grandmother to two and very lucky to be married to Danny, my very supportive husband and best friend of 35 years.

I have enjoyed various activities over the years, some of which are adventure racing, running, biking, traveling, and now hiking. I set the goal of section-hiking the AT back in the Fall of 2009. I love the challenge of this hike and the contentment it brings.

I have met some wonderful people and have come to appreciate the little things in life. I enjoy nature and marvel at God’s creation. When I walk alone in the woods, I feel like just a tiny “speck” in this big world. I will always be grateful for this opportunity and all the experiences I have gained and will gain as I continue on this journey.
